Shhhh! My Cyndi's Secrets!
My Dear Friends,
In the STARGLOW SPOTLIGHT:
Ernest Harden Jr. Shines!
Periodically I like to shine the STARGLOW SPOTLIGHT on “My Cyndi’s Secrets –Shhhh!™“ Members that excel at demonstrating inner joy and drive to be their personal best. Ernest Harden Jr. is such an individual. I have mentioned Ernest in previous columns. Both Ernest and I are originally from Detroit. That’s right – he’s a home grown talent. This popular actor has had starring roles in films such as White Men Can’t Jump, Skins and the Final Terror. He is probably best remembered for the role of Marcus Henderson in the hit TV show The Jeffersons . I love following Ernest’s career because he is extremely talented, inspirational and a great human being. This man constantly works yet remains humble. If you are fortunate enough to be in Los Angeles this weekend, you can catch him Sunday night December 15, 2013 at 5:30pm at the Odyssey Theater starring in the stage production of Beethoven and Misfortune Cookies. It’s the true story of Kabin Thomas, a University of Arkansas music professor fired for the use of profanity in the classroom and stars Harden Jr. Recently, I caught up with Ernest during one of my visits to Detroit while he was performing the critically acclaimed production mentioned above throughout the state. He and I shared an exclusive in depth Cyndi Chat jam packed with “My Cyndi’s Secrets- Shhhh™” just for YOU!
Your little Cyndi Sleuth got the scoop…………….Psssssst! Come with me!

A little My Cyndi’s Secret is that when Ernest Harden Jr. was first cast on the hit TV show The Jeffersons, it was just for a “guest” star role. He was so well loved that producers decided to make him a regular. That show made him famous. It has been seen in 62 countries around the world for years. Some of the cast has passed away, but even today Ernest still is in contact with the others. He says that they will always be special to him. Below is a photo from The Jeffersons of a young Ernest Harden Jr. (l) along with Sherman Hemsley (r) who played the role of George Jefferson.
I was thrilled to discover that Ernest Harden Jr. starred in the film White Mama with the legendary Bette Davis. Here is a shot of Ernest and Ms. Davis. OMG – you must view my Cyndi Chat today for his story about working with her. They remained friends for life.
I now invite you to get comfy. Close your office door, curl up on the sofa, sip a cup of cocoa or tea and take in the following video escape. Enjoy a delightful conversation with a man who is fun, informative and extremely inspirational. Discover his path to fame and JOY of life! Shhhh! I’m very proud to present my exclusive Cyndi Chat with Ernest Harden Jr. as he shines in the STARGLOW SPOTLIGHT! Click the video interview below:

I watched the whole interview and found it very interesting. I’d like to see that Betty Davis movie. Ernest seems like a good man. Very handsome
can’t argue with you! 🙂
I remember Mr. Harden because I loved the Jeffersons and watched it its whole run. It was one of my favorite shows from that era. This chat with Ernest was sweet. Seems like a regular guy. Not the ego-ridden personality that is usually associated with Hollywood types. Also liked the positive vibes for the “D”. Thanks a million for this behind-the-scenes look!
Hey Kasey! Always good to hear from you. I too loved the Jeffersons and am in awe of the talent of Ernest Harden Jr. You are absolutely correct in that he is not ego ridden and that is refreshing. Hope you are enjoying your holidays! InJOY! Cyndi
