My Dear Friends,

Last night was the LA Sony Pictures Classics LA Premiere and red carpet of  BLUE JASMINE. The extravagant event took place at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. My Cyndi’s Secrets has the scoop! Shhhh! 🙂  Cast members Cate Blanchett, Peter Sarsgaard, Andrew Dice Clay, and Bobby Cannavale sipped on fine cocktails courtesy of Russian Standard Vodka and noshed on lavish desserts provided by The ONE Group. Also in attendance was Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), Ali Fedotowsky (The Bachelorette) with her new boyfriend Kevin Manno, Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, X-Men: First Class), Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), MTV legend Tom Green, Ashley Jones (True Blood), recording artists 78violet (also known as Aly & AJ), John Savage (The Deer Hunter, Hair),  Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), Sally Kirkland (JFK) and Steven Bauer (Scarface). Whew – talk about a fun group of people. . Everybody had a blast!

Cate Blanchett dazzled on the red carpet.. She stars in the Woody Allen picture as a wealthy matron who has fallen on hard times. She maybe having hard time in the picture but the talk is that times are looking up for Cate in her real life. Do I hear, “Oscar” buzz? hmmmm!    Here she is posing on the carpet.

Following is a shot of some of the  desserts provided for the evening by THE ONE GROUP. There was also plenty of Standard Vodka for guests to enjoy.
